The Rational behind my approach. Francois Connoway

The basis of my approach to healing is that the body is like an ecosystem.  If what comes in, is good and the system is clean, the body or ecosystem will take what it needs. The rest or unwanted stuff need to then be removed as soon as possible, preferably within 24 hours.

It therefore is vital that what comes into the system is healthy and clean and in good balance. As a system, much like a pool in a river, needs to have a healthy acid/alkaline base it is important that the ratio of 25% acid forming food and 75% Alkaline forming foods are taken in small amounts and at least every 1 and 1/2 to two hours. It therefore holds true that if one insists on a healthy vibrant system one needs to have 6 meals a day and not 1 or 2 or even 3. All of this presupposes that your system is already at a 25%/75% function.

Too much acidity will bring the results of overweight, tiredness, headaches, depression, and from there every form of illness imaginable. To the extent that the system is already unhappy would one then be required to take in more than 75% alkalizing foods and therefore less than 25% acidifying foods. There is no food one should not have, rather less of and more of. Because most of us are not on the 25%/75% scale, there now are some foods that should be avoided as far as possible as they are known culprits when it comes to acidity.  This is mainly so as these foods are readily available and seen as staple food. The main culprits here are any form of wheat and most dairy products (milk and cheese). If a body is therefore out of sync the first two foods needed to be cut out as far as possible would be these two.

The next to be aware of are most forms of protein, especially animal protein and also plant proteins, starches and most grains (excluding millet sorghum). Here we can exclude yogurt, cottage cheese, chicken breasts, and quinoa, as well, ,as their "good" qualities override their negative qualities.

It is as well important to drink at least 2 glasses of pure water daily, not that other "healthy" liquids such as fruit and vegetable juices are bad, but simply as water is quicker to be absorbed because of the lack of too many nutrients and particles. From 80% to 96% of fruit and vegetables are made up of water. I am not an advocate of 8 glasses of water as a standard for the amount of water to drink, and would say that depends on the weather and on the activeness of the person involved. That is the warmer the weather and the more active one is the more water should be taken.
